Meet Dr. Jeffrie Leibovitz
Dr. Jeffrie Leibovitz
Regardless of whether or not he’s wearing his Spider-Man scrubs* for the day, Dr. Jeffrie Leibovitz has spent more than 30 years serving as the friendly neighborhood hero to patients with foot and ankle problems.
Dr. Leibovitz’s approach to patient care focuses on a few simple but effective elements:
- Providing a comfortable and relaxed environment.
- Having you spend as little time as possible in the waiting room (and often having you come back as soon as you check in).
- Actually listening to your questions, concerns, and how your symptoms are affecting your life.
Both time-honored techniques and state-of-the-art technology can be used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, and care continues with follow-up advice and check-ins even after an appointment has concluded.
“The office is well-run and very efficient. I got in right away and was happy to find out that my problem can be easily taken care of. I was diagnosed quickly and efficiently by the good doctor with a great sense of humor. What more could you ask for?”
Over the years, Dr. Leibovitz has directed much of his experience toward teaching optimal techniques to the next generation of doctors, ranging from reducing the pain of injections to facilitating great doctor-patient communications. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching family practice residents, and more than 5 years’ experience with podiatric residents.
Outside of the office, Dr. Leibovitz is an active outdoor enthusiast, enjoying mountain biking and flying power kites. He loves the fact his practice is so close to Fort Harrison Park. He is an outspoken advocate for dog adoption—having adopted several himself—and has a wall in the office where patients can post brag-worthy photos of their pets to raise money for local shelters.
Within the Central Indiana community, Dr. Leibovitz also serves as a member and past president of the Indianapolis Eastside Optimist Club, a local chapter of an international organization that supports children through volunteer work, scholarships, educational programs, friendly competitions, and other activities.
*(Dr. Leibovitz also has way more scrub designs than Spider-Man. Please feel free to ask him about them.)
